Hamburger Menu or Bottom Tab Bar? A or B
The oldest fight in mobile UX, and it still isn't settled.
A: A hamburger icon tucked in the corner, tap it and the full menu slides out. Clean home screen, more room for content, but navigation is hidden until someone finds it.
B: A bottom tab bar with 4-5 icons, always visible, always one tap away. Faster access to core actions, but you're limited to a handful of destinations before it gets crowded.
A is common on content-heavy apps. B dominates on apps built around a few core daily actions, think banking, social, food delivery.
Designers, this is the one you'll actually argue about. A or B, and what app changed your mind?
