🚀 React vs Next.js in 2026 – A frontend developer’s perspective
In 2026, I see many job descriptions asking for Next.js.
But here’s an honest take from someone who works mainly with ReactJS.
Why many companies are choosing Next.js:
1.Better SEO with server-side rendering
2.Improved performance for public websites
3.Built-in routing and full-stack features
4.Faster setup for startup products
That said, ReactJS is still very relevant 👇
Where ReactJS makes more sense:
1.Admin panels & dashboards
2.Internal tools
3.Complex client-side applications
4.Projects where SEO is not critical
My takeaway as a React developer:
Frameworks will keep changing.
Strong fundamentals in React, JavaScript, and UI architecture matter more than tools.
I’m currently focusing on mastering ReactJS and understanding why companies choose Next.js, so I can adapt faster when needed.
Question:
Do you think deep React knowledge is still enough in 2026, or is Next.js a must?
