Climate change has progressed so far that the obvious answers are kind of obsolete, so scientists are trying to hack nature for answers. On solution is to extract CO2 from the air using giant artificial “trees” that grab the Co2 and store it be used later as fuel.

ELEGANT WATER PURIFIER
This water purification device idea combines two things we love – simple design and reuseable water bottles. A user simply fills the BPA-free bottle with tap water, and, like a french press, pushes down on the water filter. Purified water can then be sipped from the container. Simple, elegant, and easy to use – three qualities we love in design – and it’s great for people who want to quench their thirst on the go, even if all that is available is a questionable water source.

He did not die while resting on his sofa. He did not die eating his favorite food at a posh restaurant. He did not die while signing his cheques. He did not die sick in his comforting bed.
He died while he was interacting with students which has always been his favorite thing in the world. Dieing while doing our most loved thing. How many of us are going to do it?
His body may have left. His 'Wings of Fire' has no death. They'll always flutter in air. All around us.
When you live, live like him. When you die, die like him.

The Raspberry Pi:

The Raspberry Pi is a low cost, credit-card sized computer that plugs into a computer monitor or TV, and uses a standard keyboard and mouse. It is a capable little device that enables people of all ages to explore computing, and to learn how to program in languages like Scratch and Python. It’s capable of doing everything you’d expect a desktop computer to do, from browsing the internet and playing high-definition video, to making spreadsheets, word-processing, and playing games.

RASPBERRY PI 1 MODEL B+:

The Model B+ is the final revision of the original Raspberry Pi. It replaced the Model B in July 2014 and was superseded by the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B in February 2015. Compared to the Model B it has:

*More GPIO. The GPIO header has grown to 40 pins, while retaining the same pinout for the first 26 pins as the Model A and B.

*More USB. We now have 4 USB 2.0 ports, compared to 2 on the Model B, and better hotplug and overcurrent behaviour.

*Micro SD. The old friction-fit SD card socket has been replaced with a much nicer push-push micro SD version.

*Lower power consumption. By replacing linear regulators with switching ones we’ve reduced power consumption by between 0.5W and 1W.

*Better audio. The audio circuit incorporates a dedicated low-noise power supply.

*Neater form factor. We’ve aligned the USB connectors with the board edge, moved composite video onto the 3.5mm jack, and added four squarely-placed mounting holes.

The Model B+ is perfectly suitable for use in schools: it offers more flexibility for learners than the leaner Model A or A+, which are more useful for embedded projects and projects which require very low power, and has more USB ports than the Model B.
