A room full of purpose, perspective, and possibility. MasterSoft's Higher Education Conclave, held in Mumbai on the 29th of October 2026 at Courtyard by Marriott, Andheri (E) brought together some of the finest minds in our education fraternity, and from the very first session to the last, the room was alive with ideas, questions, and a shared sense of purpose.
Mr. Om Prakash Chitlange opened the day with an inaugural keynote that went straight to the heart of why we gathered, reminding us of our duty to society, to the nation, and to the education community we serve, and setting a tone of responsibility that carried through every conversation that followed. Mr. Ajay Bhagwat spoke with real clarity on carrying NEP implementation from vision to measurable impact through OBE . Mr. Ravi Bhardwaj led one of the most interactive sessions of the day on building a Privacy-First Digital Campus under the DPDP Act, where the room dug deep into the real legalities of consent and the questions kept coming.
It was then our proud privilege to extend the Vidya Gaurav felicitation to two remarkable educators: Dr. Zahir Ishaq Kazi, Padma Shri awardee and President of Anjuman-I-Islam, whose leadership has grown one of India’s oldest educational institutions into a national and international name while championing the empowerment of women, and Dr. Ancy Jose, whose 38 years in education , including 28 as Principal of Nagindas Khandwala College, earned her recognition as the Most Admired Principal of the Year in Asia.
Prof. (Dr.) K. Karunakaran offered a thoughtful perspective on taking accreditation and compliance beyond documentation toward genuine institutional excellence . And across our two panels, candid and generous perspectives emerged on AI, autonomy, and the road ahead. The exchange never stayed on stage. It spilled into the Q&A, the lunch lobby, and every corner of the venue.
To every speaker, guest of honour, panelist, and participant who gave us their time, their insight, and their presence, thank you. You made this day what it was, and we are truly grateful.
