Many big companies have started their business by getting an idea which is either their experience based or research based. For example OLA cabs. The founder of OLA cabs is from Mumbai and he had to travel from Banglore to Bandipur by a rented car because of his job, it was a bad experience he mentioned. He thought that there is a necessity of good rented cabs which can give the pleasure of travelling to the passengers. And then he started his own business and rest is history. So basically in digital marketing you must know either the problems with the existing products and services or the requirement for the same. And you need to do research for collecting information.

4.Online Promotion - it simply states that in digital marketing you have to promote your product via social media sites. For instance Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter etc. Online promotion does not mean that you only have to post pictures of your products with a fancy caption. You need be very much specific about what you are posting or propagating about. If your posts are not eye-catchy or not intersting then there is no use of digital marketing. Social Media marketing has now became an essential and open source of promotion for every small to large scale company. So it should be creative and innovative.
5.ROI - Return On Investment is the ultimate objective behind every business idea. You can generate a good amount of ROI only when you are offering something unique, fresh to the target audience. It is important to target your audience for every product as it take less cost of production and time.
