Big Data: a Revolution that is transforming how we live, work and think and Big Data tools (area specific)
As they rightly say, ‘technology has made the world a small place’, but ironically it has created a huge mine of data which if drilled/processed smartly yields diamonds of information.
The human body has millions of neurons which work together to make the data travel to the brain for processing to give out information in the form of actions, words and behaviour. Similarly, the ever evolving trends in technology yields enormous raw data, which if processed and analysed smartly can filter out revolutionary information. This enormous and valuable set of raw data is called Big Data.
The present fact is that, we are enveloped by technology and it spans from our day-to-day life, to the way we work and even our thought process has got technical. In the mist of evolving technology we unknowingly create large chunks of raw data each day i.e. Big Data. This unstructured information is becoming the new gold. It can be used to uncover hidden patterns, unknown correlations; market trends, customer preference and other useful information help businesses make informed decisions. From predicting the spread of virus to monitoring business growth, big data is a profound pool of surprising predictions. As our power of computing is peaking everyday so is our production of raw data, and based on our search we can now see outcomes we have never imagined.
A revolution strikes when you want to change the way you have been looking at things. Big Data allows you to predict that change, as it is based out of first hand customer insights. Technology is getting disrupted everyday in some way or the other and from our office space it has got into our houses. It is no more about electronic bells and CCTV cameras in our houses, we now want our beds to be automatically made and a robot to help us with our daily chores. This disruption in technology has been drastic with shifting audiences and interests.
Limited attention span of human brain leads to immense search and continuous requirements which leverage the invention of technology. Therefore, this unstoppable cycle leads to generation of immense data which if monitored and visualized by adequate tools, translates into predictive patterns which can lead to a revolution in our daily life. We can foresee the future and businesses can benefit by pre-empting the customer issues and delivering before competition. This prediction spans from health, education, politics and innovation. Realizing your tomorrow’s needs and having a solution is the definition of innovation, and realizing the need and transforming your life is revolution.
They know what we want and they know when we want it, and they also have a solution for it already!
Let’s know how.............
