nasscom NASSCOM is the industry association for the IT and IT enabled products and services industry in Indi

Established in 1988, nasscom's membership has grown over the years and currently stands at around 1,400. These companies represent 95 per cent of industry revenues and have enabled the association to spearhead initiatives and programs to build the sector in the country and globally. nasscom members are active participants in the new global economy and are admired for their innovative business practices, social initiatives and thrust on emerging opportunities.

Building the next generation of technology leaders starts with giving young talent the opportunity to solve real problems.

At the Dewang Mehta IT Awards 2026 and Maverick Effect AI Challenge 2026, students from across Gujarat put AI to work on real-world problems.
Srikanth Velamakanni, Co-Founder & Group CEO, Fractal and Chairperson, Nasscom, delivered the Dewang Mehta Memorial Lecture 2026 and joined the jury evaluating young innovators at the Maverick Effect AI Challenge.

With 619 students from 118 colleges participating, the challenge offered a glimpse of the talent emerging from India’s campuses and what becomes possible when young people are given a problem worth solving.
