Currently, there are at least 1,000 blockchains with at least four types of blockchain networks.

n this case, mass adoption of blockchain technology likely hinges on the industry’s ability to achieve interoperability. Indeed cross-chain is the future, as moving data and value across networks is the only way to ensure greater versatility, utility and broader participation.

So, In order to achieve this interoperability, brands are building bridges & protocols fast without going much deeper into details & security aspects. Many of them have simply copied the existing contracts and built a new one with some minor adjustments.

Remember that when you do this, you copy not only their business logic but also the vulnerabilities that these contracts might have, which is also one of the reasons for losing $3 billion in hacks this year alone.

So, always make sure to get your smart contract audited for securities and optimization. Only a secured project can lead in the long run, or else it will be knocked out eventually.

The Senior Superintendent of Police, in Firozabad, India, launched a pilot project “Police complaint on blockchain.” The project is the first of its kind in India and is powered by Polygon.

All the complaints filed will be stored in the blockchain, but that doesn't mean all filed complaints will be turned into FIR. That's a separate process and needs further investigation. But the point is that now officials in India have started using these emerging technologies to build innovative and disruptive solutions to win over too many problems that exist in the traditional systems today.

Recently, India has also introduced blockchain “caste certificates” to up to 65,000 tribal members in a remote region in an attempt to stop fraudulent claims on government benefits for the disadvantaged.

These experiments are certainly pushing India towards mass adoption.
