This was a game changer for me 👇
In my earlier days of freelancing, I had friends who followed the rat race and joined their fancy corporate jobs. I’ve nothing against them or those jobs, but I always knew that they aren’t for me.
I had to forge my own path and I knew nobody else could do it for me. Only I can.
Only I understood what I really wanted. What my life should look like for me to be happy. What my next steps should be.
Only I was aware of my desires, my doubts, and my destination. Nobody else but me.
And funnily enough, I started implementing this very early on in my website design business. I set my goals and ambitions as per my vision. My requirements. My personal and individualistic growth over people’s expectations and apprehensions.
And one fine day, when I came across this message by Ankur Warikoo, I was exhilarated!
Yes, Yes, a thousand times over.
Say Yes to yourself.
Listen to yourself.
Run towards yourself.
And run away from those who never run from themselves!
How simple, yet how true! ✨
