From Nepal to KubeCon India! 🚀

We caught up with members of DevOps Kathmandu at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon India to hear about their first KubeCon experience, their work with Kubernetes across AWS, GCP and Azure, and the growing DevOps community in Nepal.

From EKS, GKE and AKS to monthly community meetups, Nepal’s cloud-native ecosystem is continuing to grow.

One thing they highlighted:

Can AI replace Drupal? Or is AI actually making Drupal more powerful? 🤔

At our Drupal Meetup, the conversation went far beyond CMS.

We discussed AI-powered CMS platforms, vibe coding, software architecture, governance, security, accessibility, and the future of web development.

One idea stood out:

AI should be an accelerator, not a replacement.

AI can generate a page.
AI can generate code.
AI can even help build an application.

But do you understand what it built, why it built it, and whether it’s actually the right solution?

That’s where developers still matter.

The discussion also explored why mature CMS platforms like Drupal continue to provide value through permissions, workflows, moderation, multilingual content, governance, and a huge open-source ecosystem.

And perhaps the biggest question:

Will AI replace developers—or will developers who know how to use AI replace those who don’t? 👀

Did you know Intuit created Argo CD?

At KubeCon + CloudNativeCon India 2026, we spoke with the Intuit Open Source team about how the company contributes to the Kubernetes ecosystem.

Beyond products like QuickBooks, TurboTax, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp, Intuit builds large-scale infrastructure tools and open-sources them for the community.

From Argo CD to Numaflow, we discussed how enterprise engineering challenges become open-source innovation.

One key takeaway:

💡 Build for your own scale. Open source it for everyone.
