ഓപ്പണ്‍ ആക്‌സസ് നെറ്റ് മീറ്ററിംഗ് വിഭാഗത്തിലെ സോളാര്‍ പദ്ധതികള്‍ക്ക് ദേശീയമായി അംഗീകരിച്ച സോളാര്‍ സെല്ലുകള്‍ നിര്‍ബന്ധമായി ഉപയോഗിക്കണമെന്ന കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ നിര്‍ദേശം ഏഴ് മാസത്തേക്ക് കൂടി നീട്ടി. ഡിസംബര്‍ 31 വരെ, ഇളവ് അനുവദിച്ചു.

ഓപ്പണ്‍ ആക്‌സസ് നെറ്റ് മീറ്ററിംഗ് വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലെ പദ്ധതികള്‍ക്ക് ALMM-II പട്ടികയിലുള്ള സോളാര്‍ സെല്ലുകള്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കാതെ, ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്ത സെല്ലുകള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് കമ്മീഷന്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ ഡിസംബര്‍ വരെ അനുമതിയുണ്ടാകും. മുമ്പ് നല്‍കിയ ഇളവ് മെയ് 31ന് അവസാനിച്ചിരുന്നു.

ഈ തീരുമാനം പ്രധാനമായും കൊമേഴ്‌സ്യല്‍, ഇന്‍ഡസ്ട്രിയല്‍ മേഖലയിലെ പദ്ധതികള്‍ക്ക് ഗുണകരമാകും.
