The findings indicated employees in 67 per cent of organisations experienced an increase in email phishing attacks.
While 64 per cent of organisations expect an incident to occur in the next month, 70 per cent are concerned about unknown threats that will cause business disruption in the next six months.
Additionally, 53 per cent of organisations in India do not have an up-to-date cyber security strategy and solutions in place that cover all the vulnerabilities posed by full-time remote working, said the survey by Barracuda, a leading provider of Cloud-enabled security solutions.

Microsoft recently concluded a survey of nearly 800 business leaders of companies of more than 500 employees in India (IN), Germany (DE), the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States (US) to better understand their views of the pandemic threat landscape, implications for budgets and staffing, and how they feel the pandemic could reshape the cyber-security long-term.
Among the key insights are data showing that an alarming number of businesses are still impacted by phishing scams, security budgets, and hiring increased in response to COVID-19, and cloud-based technologies and architectures like Zero Trust are significant areas of investment moving forward.

Important Notice
We would like to provide an update on the recent incidents of unauthorized access to some Nintendo Accounts.
While we continue to investigate, we would like to reassure users that there is currently no evidence pointing towards a breach of Nintendo's databases, servers or services. As one action in our ongoing investigation, we are discontinuing the ability to use a Nintendo Network ID to sign in to a Nintendo Account. All other options to sign-in to a Nintendo Account remain available.
As a further precaution, we will soon contact users about resetting passwords for Nintendo Network IDs and Nintendo Accounts that we have reason to believe were accessed without authorization.
In addition, we also continue to strongly encourage users to enable two-step verification for their Nintendo Account as instructed here: How to set-up two-step verification for a Nintendo Account.
If any users become aware of unauthorized activity, we encourage them to take the steps outlined in the article about the Nintendo Account recovery process.
During the investigation, in order to deter further attempts of unauthorized sign-ins, we will not reveal more information about the methods employed to gain unauthorized access.
