FROM DIALOGUE TO PARTNERSHIP. FROM PARTNERSHIP TO IMPACT.

The CUTM - CQAI Conclave was about something beyond meaningful conversations. It was a strategic convergence about what it takes to build capabilities, create innovation and shape the technology ecosystem of tomorrow.

What began as a vision to bring academia, industry, research and entrepreneurship closer together has now moved into a new phase with the formal establishment of the CUTM - CQAI partnership.

The conclave brought together visionary perspectives, technical expertise and institutional aspirations around some of the most consequential areas shaping the future: quantum technology, emerging technologies, research, innovation and talent development.

For us at CQAI, it was particularly significant to see CUTM engage deeply with the possibilities of our quantum expertise and recognise the value of building capabilities beyond academic knowledge, particularly in Quantum Software Development.

The conclave reached its culmination with the signing of a landmark CUTM - CQAI MoU. This MoU marks an important milestone, but it is not the destination. It is the foundation for what comes next.

The MoU provides a framework for translating strategic intent into initiatives, initiatives into capabilities, and capabilities into outcomes with the ambition being larger than a conventional industry-academia collaboration.

From Kashmir Valley to Amaravati Quantum Valley, this collaboration represents a step towards connecting regional strengths with a larger national vision. It contributes to a more connected, innovation-driven and technologically self-reliant India.

The vision is clear.
The partnership is established.
The roadmap is taking shape.

Now comes the most important phase, turning vision into action and collaboration into lasting impact.

Day 3 | From Dialogue to Action: CUTM–CQAI MoU Marks a New Chapter in Academia–Industry Collaboration

The final day of the CUTM–CQAI Conclave translated three days of dialogue, technical exchange and strategic deliberations into a concrete roadmap for action.

The defining moment was the signing of an MoU between CUTM and CQAI by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, CUTM, Dr. Prasanta Kumar Mohanty, and Dr. Rukhsan Ul Haq, CEO & Chief Scientist, CQAI, in the presence of delegates from both institutions.

The collaboration will leverage CQAI’s Transformative Learning Labs (TLLs), research capabilities and startup ecosystem, alongside CUTM’s institutional presence in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, to advance technology-led education, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and industry engagement.

Beyond a formal partnership, the MoU establishes a strategic blueprint for connecting academia, industry, research and entrepreneurship—creating a scalable model with the potential to expand across India and contribute to a more innovation-driven, technologically self-reliant ecosystem.

The Conclave concluded with a shared commitment to move from deliberation to implementation, building the CUTM–CQAI academia–industry ecosystem through the ex*****on of the MoU.

From deliberation to partnership. From partnership to implementation. From innovation to national impact.

Bridging the gap between innovative design and real-world application requires continuous dialogue with seasoned industry leaders.

Today at our Hyderpora office, the Center of Innovation (CoI), CQAI hosted Mr. Hilal Shah, an industry professional with nearly two decades of experience. Drawing from his extensive industry experience, he shared valuable perspectives on how engineering, innovation, and practical problem-solving must evolve together to address real-world challenges.

During the interaction, our team showcased Vatoz—CQAI’s autonomous marine platform designed to navigate aquatic environments, support waste collection, and leverage its configurable hull architecture for a range of mission-specific applications, including environmental monitoring, surveillance, and other operational use cases.

The session evolved into an insightful exchange of ideas, where industry experience met emerging engineering innovation. Such discussions reaffirm an important principle: impactful technologies are not created in isolation—they are shaped through rigorous dialogue, diverse perspectives, and a shared commitment to solving meaningful problems.

At CQAI, we believe that engineering excellence extends beyond developing advanced technologies. It also lies in cultivating an ecosystem where researchers, engineers, innovators, and industry experts come together to challenge assumptions, exchange knowledge, and accelerate the development of solutions that create measurable impact in the real world.

Yesterday, we didn’t host a fest.

We opened a window into what the future can look like.

Young Innovators Fest at Chinar Quantum Al brought together students, educators, researchers, innovators, and dreamers with one shared belief: extraordinary futures are built through extraordinary mindsets.

Yesterday, we didn’t host a fest.

We opened a window into what the future can look like.

Young Innovators Fest at Chinar Quantum Al brought together students, educators, researchers, innovators, and dreamers with one shared belief: extraordinary futures are built through extraordinary mindsets.

The event opened with a warm welcome by Khushboo Fazli, who greeted the students, faculty members, alumni, and CQAI leadership, introduced the purpose of Young Innovators Fest, and set the tone for an afternoon centered on curiosity, collaboration, and future-ready learning.

From there, Muneeb Zahoor Basu shared a story that went beyond academics-a story of choosing purpose over convention, resilience over adversity, and research over comfort. From taking a gap year to joining CQAl’s Centre of Excellence, and now preparing for his research journey in Germany, his message was simple:
dreams become achievable when guided by the right ecosystem.

The conversation then shifted from possibility to technology.

Mr. Sahreen Haider demonstrated how Artificial Intelligence is no longer a concept of tomorrow but an engineering reality of today. Through VATOZ, CQAI’s autonomous surface vessel, students witnessed how Al, embedded systems, and autonomous decision-making are solving real-world environmental challenges. Questions flowed. Curiosity grew. Innovation became tangible.

The keynote by our CEO, Dr. Rukhsan Ul Haq, carried the heart of the evening.

Success, he reminded us, is never purchased-it is cultivated.

Not by wealth.
Not by circumstances.

But by mindset

He spoke about embracing opportunities, measuring growth against our previous selves, and developing the mathematical and computational thinking required to solve tomorrow’s challenges.

Most importantly, he introduced a vision that defines Chinar Quantum Al.

Every successful journey deserves a Rehbar
