Colours play a very important role in logo designing and brand building. Choosing a colour for your logo is as important as pricing your products and services.
Each colour portrays a different emotion. For example, the logo of Barbie. Pink colour indicates a feeling of soft and tenderness, thus, most brands who cater to the needs of women, have shades of pink in their logos.
Brand recognition can be increased by up to 80% by effective use of colour throughout marketing, packaging and logo design. Colour psychology could thus be used as a first impression technique.
