Job Description : -

· Sourcing different variety of fabrics from different parts of India.
· Approving the samples, bulk production fabric checking the colors and pattern quality as per the spec sheet under buyer’s required standard light and correcting the shades for the exact matching.
· Booking the yardage of fabric for the forth-coming bulk orders with the implementation of quality particulars as per the buyer’s requirement.
· After the approval of hand loom swatch / sample yardage, implementing appropriate right process to achieve the required quality in bulk production of fabric.
· Plan the total bulk production with the vendors as per the order quantity, quality and delivery schedule.
· Communication with buyer & supplier, Co-ordinate with vendors for quality & right time delivery.
· Plan and ensure fabric testing and inspection of various buyers per their recommended procedures and laid quality norms & standard
· Stage wise process control to minimize in process rejection
· Oversea the change of processing in each stage and coordinating with the operational staff and store department for upkeep of working process in streamlined
· Preparation and monitoring inspection procedures and inventory control for individual buyers according to the requirements
· Leading efforts for streamlining the production of fabric with the suppliers to get the timely delivery with assured quality
· Evaluating vendors with maintaining good quality based supplier through vendor evaluation at the year-end related to percentage of rejections, versatility and ability to produce different types of fabrics, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, machinery infrastructure, credit terms etc and recommending to add or w**d them at the end of every season to prepared for the next season bulk procurement
· Overall supervision of total fabric team of checkers, fabric Q.C, lab analyst and store official.
· Taking the responsibility of fabric from the enquiry to the garment shipment related the fabric.
