Women Police Station, Imphal West, organised an awareness programme at T.G. Higher Secondary School on the New Criminal Laws, crimes against women and children, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.

During the programme, participants were sensitised on the key legal provisions relating to the protection of women and children, their rights under the law, and the importance of timely reporting of offences. The session also highlighted the role of students, teachers, and the community in preventing such crimes and promoting a safe and secure environment.

An interactive session was held to address the queries of the participants, followed by prize distribution to encourage active participation and reinforce awareness on these important social and legal issues.
