1.Capacitor – Stores and releases electrical charge. Used for filtering noise and stabilizing voltage.
2.Resistor – Controls or limits current flow. Protects components from excess current.
3.Transistor – Acts as a switch or amplifier. Controls large current using small signal.
4.Coil (Inductor) – Stores energy in magnetic form. Used in power supply and filtering circuits.
5.MOSFET – Advanced switching transistor. Common in battery, charging, and power sections.
6.Crystal (Oscillator) – Provides clock frequency. Keeps CPU and circuits running in sync.
7. IC (Integrated Circuit) – Main chip handling specific tasks (audio, power, CPU, etc.).
8. LDO (Low Dropout Regulator) – Regulates voltage to stable lower level.
9. Diode – Allows current in one direction only. Protects from reverse polarity.
10.TVS Diode – Protects from voltage spikes (ESD protection).
11..Zener Diode – Maintains fixed voltage for regulation.
12 Photo Diode – Detects light. Used in proximity and light sensors.
13. LED Diode – Emits light. Used for flash, indicator, display.
14 BGA (Ball Grid Array) – IC package type with solder balls under it (CPU, RAM).

πŸ”¬ Micron Automotive UFS Memory – Detailed Signal & Power Interface Description (32GB–256GB)

This image illustrates the complete electrical signal classification and power architecture of Micron Automotive UFS memory devices used in high-speed mobile and embedded systems.

⚑ Clock & Reset Control

REF_CLK – Reference clock input for M-PHY operation. Must be driven LOW or pulled down when inactive to prevent unstable PHY initialization.

RST_n – Active-low hardware reset input used to reinitialize the UFS controller and memory subsystem.

πŸ“‘ M-PHY High-Speed Differential Data Interface

UFS uses full-duplex differential lanes for high-speed serial communication:

Downstream (Host β†’ UFS Device)

DIN0_t / DIN0_c

DIN1_t / DIN1_c
Differential input pairs carrying command and write data from the SoC to the UFS device.

Upstream (UFS Device β†’ Host)

DOUT0_t / DOUT0_c

DOUT1_t / DOUT1_c

Differential output pairs transmitting read data and status information back to the host.

These lanes operate under M-PHY standards and require controlled impedance routing and proper differential pair matching during PCB design.

πŸ”‹ Power Domains

VCC – NAND array core supply voltage.

VCCQ2 – Supply for M-PHY interface and internal memory controller logic.

VDDIQ – Input for internal regulator bypass (stability capacitor connection required).

VSS – Ground reference plane.

Proper decoupling and stable voltage regulation are critical to avoid boot failure or UFS detection issues.

🧩 Special / Reserved Pins

VSF[9:1] – Vendor Specific Function pins. Must remain floating. (VSF2 not used; exposing as test points recommended for diagnostics.)

NC (No Connect) – Can be grounded or left floating.

RFU (Reserved for Future Use) – Must remain floating to prevent undefined behavior.

πŸ›  Application Insight:

This signal classification is essential for chip-level fault diagnosis such as:

No UFS detection
Boot loop due to PHY failure
Read/Write instability
Power rail short troubleshooting
Differential lane continuity testing
