In what is hailed as a pioneering venture, the CHIHUI GROUP has launched a new solvent printing machine - the COLORJET SONIQ AQUA - at its COLORBASKET Design and Print Studio in Ukhrul on 20th August, 2025.
The inauguration was graciously led by Mr. Khavangsing Lungleng, who first pioneered the printing press in Ukhrul town back in 1977.
Rev. Dr. Ringphami Kengoo, Pastor of Shirui Baptist Church said the invocation, Rev. Varemi Zingkhai, Pastor of Khangkhui Phungdhar Baptist Church led the inaugural prayer and Rev. Ngalengmi Zimik, Associate Pastor of UBC Ukhrul offered the thanksgiving prayer.
Since its establishment in 2013, COLORBASKET has been delivering professional design and print solutions not only across Manipur but also catering to an ever-expanding client base in other north-eastern states and beyond. The addition of this state-of-the-art printer, the first of its kind in North-East India, marks a transformative step that will significantly reshape the printing landscape of the region.
