Excellent Addition to the literature of Geomechanics!

We developed recently a generalized semi-analytical equations to estiamte rock mechanical properties as solely porosity-driven functions. We employed lab-tested core data from 55 core samples to validate the new model’s efficiency.
Impressively, the results closely matched the lab measurements and clearly ouperformed all the available emperical correlations to estimate the static Young's modulus, static shear modulus, and static bulk modulus.
