Hi all! Regarding the cages for the ZCAM products, as well as Sigma Fp series, we do not manufacture them anymore. We received several requests over time and we want to thank you for praising our design approach. Prices made by other manufacturers are too low for us to earn something and sustain the activities. On the other hand we do not want (and never wanted) to price our items too high.
We're working on one off rigs and projects, so future will tell if we'll do accessories for the Industry again. All the best.

SIGMA FP PRO CAGE – KABUTO FP-1

KABUTO FP-1 is the first pro-grade cage solution for the new SIGMA Fp compact cinema camera.

At Taipancinema we developed the cage as a part of the Fp system itself: seamless integration with the original accessories, like the VF-11 and the lens adapters, minimal design but great expandability.

The new SSD holder design allows to mount an external T5 unit using its shape as a sun shader when open and as a display protector while in closed position.

The KABUTO FP-1 cage supports a variety of cinema mounting standards as ¼-20 UNC, 3/8-16 UNC and Arri 2-pin antirotation. The latter is located on the very front of the cage, allowing to mount 3rd parties top handles without obstructing any lens operation. Moreover its position guarantees an ideal center of mass balancing.

On the right side we designed a cold-shoe support that follows the shape of the camera and acts as an extended thumb rest. The numerous ¼-20 threads allow to easily and ideally relocate the original SIGMA neck strap supports.

Following our philosophy, the KABUTO FP-1 is made with the highest quality materials and processes available: precisely machined 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum alloy, satin surface finish, military specification natural grey anodization, stainless steel Helicoil reinforced ¼-20 UNC threads.

For maximum rigidity and robustness, the KABUTO FP-1 main part is machined from a solid billet of aluminum, in one piece.

CAGE E2 SF-68 PRE-ORDERS OPEN.
Hi all! Following the huge amount of feedbacks received, we've worked on the CAGE E2 SF-68 to refine it and finalize for production.

The CAGE E2 SF-68 main specs remain unchanged:
1) top grade 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum
2) opaque satin surface, military spec.
3) natural grey anodize
4) 1/4-20 UNC steel Helicoils.

We've added the possibility to install the rosettes in different locations of the cage for complete flexibility: on the right side there are three mounting points, while on the left side, there are two but the second one is on top for external viefinder easy installation.

A new, removable, base was also added to extend the CAGE E2 SF-68 versatility.
The HDMI lock was shortened and we'll introduce a longer one as well as one for angled HDMI connectors.

Pre-orders campaign starts today till Sunday 13th.

Price is 299,00 Eur (VAT and shipping not included).

The package contains: CAGE E2 SF-68, USBC-lock, HDMI-lock short version, three Arri rosettes

This time, we opted for no-compromise top quality materials and finish. Only 7075 aerospace Aluminum and opaque grey, military specification, anodize for our future products.
