Our new course, Python Zero to Hero with Michael Kennedy, will be held at the Villa Il Poggiolino in Tuscany. It's located just outside Lucignano, between Arezzo and Siena and in the famous Val di Chiana.

New Course! Join Michael Kennedy, of Talk Python fame, for our Python Zero to Hero course in Tuscany October 5 through 12th.

Seven luxurious days with four hours a day of training covering the complete process of building a Python web application and API, including containerization, document database, and end-user interactivity. Perfect if you're coming from Python or another language and want a fast-paced course covering the entire application development process.

Outside of class, tour this lesser-visited corner of Tuscany with Larry and Marco, getting to know picturesque hill towns (like Lucignano, in the picture) as well as Siena and Arezzo. All activities and most meals included! Bring a companion, we'll have extra activities in the mornings for them.

Two of the attendees at our Blazor Master Class in Tuscany this week are from Kentucky and brought a couple of bottles of bourbon to share with those who indulge. Thanks, Bill and Missy! Maybe we should have called it "Cask in a Castle".

The bottle of grappa (an Italian product made from the left over skins from the wine making process -- waste not, want not) in the middle is to add local flavor.

A rare spotting of Carl Franklin in his native environment. After class today we all ran a half hour up the coast to visit the vineyards at Terre del Marchesato, a small producer of high quality Bolgheri wines. Then, up to the hill town of Bolgheri for dinner.

One of our course attendees is, on the side, an importer of Italian wines into Germany (he's learning Blazor in part to redo their online store). He was impressed enough with the wine to place a large order.

Drinks in the Castle's garden followed by our welcome dinner at Code in a Castle's Blazor Master Class. We did our welcome dinner the second night so that people were rested and we all knew each other a bit from the first day of class and plus-one activities.
