Today was a truly meaningful day for me.
The delegation from Shanghai Normal University — the university where I worked for many years before moving to Italy — visited the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti–Pescara for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions.
It was emotional to witness this important moment and to contribute, even in a small way, to building a new bridge of collaboration between China and Italy in the fields of education, research, and international exchange.
Seeing two universities, two cultures, and two academic communities coming together with mutual respect and shared vision reminds me why international education matters so deeply.
I sincerely hope this will be the beginning of many future collaborations, exchanges, and opportunities for students and researchers on both sides.
Grateful to everyone especially Professor Laura Bernardi who made this visit possible.
