Abbiamo messo insieme UseBy, un’app gratuita che cerca di dare una mano contro lo spreco alimentare.

L’abbiamo fatta un po’ per curiosità, un po’ per divertirci e anche per testare qualche tecnologia nuova.

Funziona così: fai una foto allo scontrino, lei cerca di capire cosa hai comprato e quando scade. Poi ti ricorda di mangiarlo prima che scada!

Nulla di troppo serio, ma magari torna utile.

Non è monetizzata (per ora), quindi se vi va di provarla e dirci cosa ne pensate — o avete idee su come migliorarla o renderla sostenibile — ogni feedback è benvenuto!

We put together UseBy, a free app that tries to help fight food waste.

We made it partly out of curiosity, partly for fun and also to test some new technology.

This is how it works: take a picture of the receipt, it tries to understand what you bought and when it expires. Then it reminds you to eat it before it expires!

Nothing too serious, but maybe it will be useful.

It is not monetized (yet), so if you want to try it and tell us what you think — or have ideas on how to improve it or make it sustainable — any feedback is welcome!
