We’re celebrating an inspiring 13-year journey with Montrone, Cardanit Product Manager at ESTECO!
Teresa’s career path is a remarkable example of growth and adaptability. Joining us in 2013, as an intern on the numerical team, she walked into an environment that instantly felt like a big family. Over the years, she has successfully navigated several key roles, moving from intern to PhD student, researcher, software developer, project manager, and now product manager.

🚆 Her most challenging yet rewarding milestone was her PhD thesis, "Energy Consumption Minimization in Railway Systems." Tackling a completely new domain for ESTECO at the time, Teresa built a strong network of experts to guide the research. Her work opened up entirely new sectors for our technology, including ongoing optimization projects to maximize capacity at the Port of Trieste.

💡 The secret to 13 years at ESTECO? "Coming to the office feels just like coming home! ESTECO is truly like a second family to me. When I arrive each morning, I'm happy knowing I'm surrounded by supportive, wonderful people. On top of that, the work is constantly stimulating and keeps me motivated every single day!"
