🌍 PubCoder + UNICEF: Making education accessible for all children
We're excited to share our collaboration with UNICEF's Accessible Digital Textbooks initiative.
Since 2018, PubCoder has been used in Rwanda, Bhutan, and Nepal to help educators create digital textbooks with features like synchronized narration, sign language video, and interactive activities — so children with disabilities can learn alongside their peers.
✨ Rwanda: 55 accessible digital textbooks now available nationally
✨ Bhutan: Pilots in 19 schools
✨ Nepal: Training for educators on accessible publishing
This work also helped us improve PubCoder 5.1, which now passes accessibility validation with zero errors.

Pubcoder's blog recounts, in a nutshell, an outstanding job lasting many months, done with the US nonprofit Waterford, which supports younger students with a popular digital platform.
Together, we have given 327 books for primary school students a new interactive digital form, introducing a series of elements that promote reading and comprehension.
In the coming months, we will report on many new developments, including artificial intelligence, that Pubcoder is pursuing with Conversa and a significant group of international partners: content and readers remain firmly at the centre of our journey, and technology will increasingly serve good stories.
For us, this is an unbreakable rule :)
