We analyzed 88 new mobile games released in 2025 to examine beta test trends in Japan.

The implementation rate was 35.2%, remaining at a similar level to the previous year. In addition, 80.6% of the titles that conducted beta tests were developed overseas, with a clear trend toward short-term CBT operations. The report also highlights examples of user engagement initiatives, such as collecting feedback via Discord, social media campaigns, and in-game rewards for participants.
