We are indeed super grateful to Rising Nomads and Mr Hukun Dabar for their generosity in donating a digital camera to our organization.

Notably, this camera comes in handy to undo the hustle and toil of having to hire a cameraman which has proven costly to some extent.

Fortunately, this camera will now enable us document our programs' activities and learning sessions in digital formats like pictures and videos.

STATEMENT OF CONDOLENCES BY OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, MR ALI MUSA.

"I join the people of Kisauni and Nyali in mourning the passing on of Mr Abbas Dola, who was a community leader and an organiser; solving and attending to most of societal issues. Interestingly, even recently, when age and illness was catching up real bad with him, he always stood firm to make it right for the community.

I remember when we were in early stages of setting up FRONTIER TECH HUB offices in Kisauni, I was referred to him to help me put together the office, seek guidance and support on local issues that we intend to address as an organization and to be introduced with linkages and networks that will be relevant in seeing our organisation progress.

The minute I was given his phone number, I didn't hesitate, I gave him a call and before I knew it he was at our office door knocking.

Together with Robert Kiggira and him, we had a great and lengthy interaction that reshaped my whole perspective about Nyali and Kisauni. From his talk you would realise he truly was for the people and that's why to-date he commands so much respect and honour among his peers and community at large.

I surely will miss his presence and advice. I say Inna lillahy wa Inna illahy rajioon. (To Allah we belong and unto Him we shall return)

Let's pray the Almighty rests his soul in eternal peace. Let's pray too that the Almighty grants comfort and patience to his family, closed ones and associates, during this difficult period.
