Hey,
If you are wondering y ur unlimited internet is terribly-dead slow (only 256kbps) here is the truth Orange Kenya wunt tell yah />:
They recently discovered that most us luved (not anymore) their truly unlimited plan (well, after Safaricom dumped theirs and Airtel’s unlimited monthly FUP is ) and used/ 'abused' the 'relationship' buy downloading 300Gb+ of stuff per month.
So they decided to up their game:

They updated their website with the new FUP (Fair Usage Policy) policies: http://oran.ge/10rqZ3Y (click on ‘unlimited’ tab) > notice this> "Internet speed imposed upon FUP limits being reached is 256kbps and the same is maintained until the end of the validity period of offer…"

If you are like me and downloaded more than 300GBs of stuff monthly… u r the target!... hehehehe! >they want their money back$!… register a new simcard for your modem bcoz truly Orange are still on top of this ‘unlimited’ internet game with 20GB monthly offer which is 3times a better offer than what Airtel is offering(7GBs)… somehow worth the money…??

Am stil very frustrated, bt when I look at my 4TBs of data in my PC (not accounting for deleted stuff) I smile…
