🚨 KAA RADA! How to spot a FAKE Tala🚨
Scammers are creating fake pages especially on Facebook to steal your hard-earned money. Protect yourself by remembering these 3 golden rules:
❌ 1. They Ask for Upfront Fees: If a page or "agent" asks you to send a "registration fee," "deposit fee," or "processing fee" via M-Pesa to unlock a loan, it is a scam! The real Tala never asks for money upfront.
❌ 2. They Use WhatsApp or Messenger or SMS: Real Tala loans are ONLY processed inside the official Tala App downloaded from the Google Play Store. Tala will never slide into your DMs or overtake our replies here to give you a loan.
❌ 3. Look for the Blue Badge: The official Tala Kenya page is verified with a blue tick (). If the page has a blurry logo, few followers, or asks you to call a random mobile number, block them immediately!
Stay safe! If it doesn't happen inside the official Tala app, it’s not Tala. 📲
