A dreadful malware is on the lose , and spreading quite fast.The malware is delivered as a Trojan through a loaded hyperlink that can better accidentally opened by a victim through an email, advert on a webpage or a Dropbox link. Once it has been activated, the program spreads through the computer and locks all the files with the same encryption used for instant messages after which it deletes all the originals and ask for ransom in bitcoin crypto currency.
Its encryption algorithm makes it even hard to get it out .Some security 101 tasks will keep you safe,....
Update your antivirus engine ,at least for now only Russian coded kaspersky is keeping it out ,bit defender also doing well on that end.
