MWN Tech is producing serious games using cutting edge devices of motion and visual technology. By developing immersive experiences with gesture recognition using motion and wearable technologies, the goal of MWN Tech is to produce serious games such as math education for children. MWN Tech’s team, influenced by strong related academic research backgrounds in computer science, has professional exp
eriences in 3D graphics, game engine development, and game design; members have developed many products and demos using Kinect, Oculus, and mobile devices. Furthermore, MWN Tech has a close relationship with game gurus and educational organizations, including at times, performing lectures and technical training services. Educational software and games of MWN Tech have the following advantages. First, some are motioned based in that gestures can be applied using a Kinect device. Second, some are fully immersive by using a head-mounted display (HMD), namely the Oculus Rift (DevKit1 and support to be added soon for DevKit2). Third, our applications help the user to exercise while having fun playing a game and learning at the same time. Fourth, the play result and achievements are stored and managed externally on a server as a knowledge map to optimize the user’s learning process.
