Korean Folk Village turns into a horror village after dark 👻🏮

The Hidden Joseon: Ghost Pursuit (심야공포촌) is back for the summer, filling the folk village with haunted houses, immersive missions, performances, photo zones, and creepy experiences after sunset.

📅 Until Sep 6
📍 Yongin Korean Folk Village
⏰ 10:00–24:00
🌙 Most horror programs start after 16:00 (but we would recommend to visit after 18:00 because the atmosphere is very different when it’s dark outside)

From A Haunted Prison and The Haunted Den to Joseon Murder Investigation, there are plenty of programs to explore throughout the night. Some experiences require a separate reservation and fee, so check the program schedule before visiting!

💡 Tip: Grab an event brochure when you arrive as it’ll make navigating all the horror zones much easier.

If you’re looking for something different to do on last summer nights in Korea, this might be your sign to visit before it ends 👀

No long drive, no day trip out of Seoul, just a mountain stream in the city 🌿

Jingwansa Valley (진관사 계곡) in Eunpyeong-gu is a popular local spot to cool down during hot days, with clear mountain water, shady spots and plenty of rocks to sit around.

It’s also an easy outing: parking and toilets are nearby, and the valley is relatively accessible compared to many 계곡 outside Seoul, because you can take public transport to get there.

💦 Water: Mostly shallow, better for cooling your feet than proper swimming
🚗 Parking: Available nearby
🚻 Toilets: Nearby
👀 Fun fact: BTS RM recently visited Jingwansa!

The downside? Because it’s easy to reach from Seoul, it can get very crowded on hot days, and the valley is quite small if you’re looking for somewhere to actually swim.

Still, if you want to experience a simple Korean-style summer outing without traveling far from Seoul, this is a good one to know 🇰🇷🌿

📍 Jingwansa Valley, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul

Would you choose a 계곡 day over a swimming pool? 👀
