Leadpoint System is pleased to collaborate with the Decentralized Identity Foundation, DIF, to support a global survey on DIDComm implementations.

DIDComm is a key protocol for trusted interactions in decentralized identity ecosystems, enabling secure communication between people, organizations, systems, and machines through DIDs.

Through this initiative, Leadpoint System and DIF aim to gather real-world DIDComm implementation cases and build a stronger foundation for broader adoption, better interoperability, and improved industry alignment around DIDComm V2.

DIF’s official blog also highlights Leadpoint System’s role in identifying the visibility gap of DIDComm implementations and contributing to this collaborative effort.

At Leadpoint System, we believe that the wider adoption of DIDComm V2 will be an important driver for future interoperability, technical collaboration, and global decentralized identity innovation.

Leadpoint System participated in NexTech Week Tokyo 2026 Spring, where we introduced our blockchain-based carbon data management platform, CarbonFleet, and enterprise digital asset wallet platform, Funet OneWallet.

As Japan enters a new phase of GX transformation, including GX-ETS implementation and growing demand for J-Credit utilization, companies are increasingly required to manage carbon reduction performance not merely as reports, but as verifiable data assets.

Through this exhibition, we confirmed strong interest in CarbonFleet’s approach to carbon reduction data management, MRV support, blockchain-based traceability, and potential linkage with transportation and energy data.

Leadpoint System will continue to explore local partnerships, PoC opportunities, and commercialization models tailored to Japan’s GX transition, carbon data management, and digital asset infrastructure needs.

Leadpoint System CEO Dohyung Kim recently presented at NetSec-KR, one of Korea’s leading information security conferences.

The presentation was held under the theme:

“Digital Trust Infrastructure: Introduction to Blockchain Concepts and Real-World Use Cases.”

NetSec-KR, short for Network Security Conference Korea, is hosted by the Korea Internet & Security Agency and organized by the Korea Institute of Information Security & Cryptology. Since 1995, it has been a major platform for sharing knowledge and insights in the field of information security and cybersecurity.

During the presentation, CEO Kim explained that as digital transformation expands, trust in data, identity, authority, and transaction processes is becoming more important than ever.

He emphasized that blockchain is not just a technology for storing data. It can serve as digital trust infrastructure that connects identity trust, data trust, and transaction trust.

Leadpoint System also introduced several real-world blockchain use cases, including:

① InnoVoting for electronic voting and online shareholders’ meetings
② CarbonFleet for carbon reduction data management and carbon credit transaction support
③ BioTrack for pharmaceutical logistics and cold chain reliability
④ Incheon e-Wallet for DID-based public digital identity services

Through these cases, Leadpoint System shared how blockchain can be applied to real industries and public services where transparency, traceability, and verifiability are essential.

What makes carbon credits tradable at scale?

According to this op-ed by Park Seong-jun (Dongguk University), the answer is not bigger numbers—it’s verifiable, auditable proof.

Especially in transportation, where data is continuous and stakeholders are diverse, standardizing the calculation/reporting/verification/approval trail can directly lower the cost of trust and increase participation.

If you’re building MRV, fleet decarbonization programs, or carbon-credit infrastructure, I’d love to compare notes.

Carbon is no longer just an “environment” topic — it’s becoming a rule of trade.

With the EU CBAM moving into its definitive regime from Jan 1, 2026, the real question for exporters is shifting:

Not “Did you reduce emissions?” but “Can you prove your numbers to a regulatory standard?”

CBAM doesn’t simply ask for a figure. It demands an end-to-end proof chain:

where source data was generated, how integrity was maintained, what methodology was used, who verified/approved it, and how audit-ready history is preserved.

That’s why we believe “verifiable carbon data operations” will define export competitiveness in the next phase of global trade.

We are preparing to launch CarbonFleet, a transport-sector carbon credit app designed to turn emissions-reduction results into tradable performance backed by source data, verification, and lifecycle management records.

CarbonFleet is being developed under “Building a Transport-Sector Carbon Credit Trading Support and Management Platform,” part of the 2025 Blockchain Private-Sector Expansion Project led by MSIT and KISA. The platform helps stakeholders verify not only the reduction amount, but also how it was calculated, verified, managed, and transferred over time.

With a user app and an operator web system, CarbonFleet supports integrated workflow management, digital proof (e.g., NFTs) for tamper resistance and traceability, and AI-based analytics to enhance data-driven operations.

We look forward to collaborating with transport associations, operators, and partners to scale trusted carbon credit infrastructure.
