XAI Land Wins "2026 Korea Residential Environment Award" for Proptech category

XAI Land's AVM (Automatic Valuation Model) system was selected as the winner of the PropTech category in the grand prize co-organized by JoongAng Ilbo, JoongAng Ilbo, the Construction Association of Korea, and the Construction and Economy Research Institute of Korea.

XAI Land's core technologies include:
🔹 LENS - National Residential Real Estate Accountable Valuation Report
🔹 VAULT - An institutional collateral portfolio risk platform
🔹 RADAR - Housing market early warning system

Completion of HUG (Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation) PoC, recognition of SH Urban Research Institute technology, presentations of its technology at three The National Assembly of The Republic of Korea policy forums, an official recommendation by a savings bank in South Korea, among others. We strive to create a standard for real estate valuation infrastructure in Korea based on cooperation with public and financial sectors.

XAI Land was invited to present to an MBA cohort from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School (The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) visiting Seoul this week - facilitated by the 주한미국대사관 U.S. Embassy Seoul's Public Diplomacy team.

Professor Sylvia Gross, Chair of AFIRE (Association of Foreign Investors in U.S. Real Estate) and a veteran of cross-border real estate capital markets, brought her students to Seoul for firsthand exposure to one of Asia's most complex housing markets.

We covered:
→ Korea's appraisal conflict-of-interest problem and its systemic consequences
→ How AI-based AVM infrastructure addresses fraud risk and financial exclusion
→ The regulatory tailwinds (AI Basic Act, FSC reform, gov't AVM pilot programs) accelerating institutional adoption
→ Why Korea's non-apartment housing market is where the data gap is
