It’s been almost one month since World of Coffee Brussels!

With attendees and exhibitors gathering from across the world, the European show was one of our busiest (and hottest) yet.

We shared our booth with close collaborators and brewers alike, who took over our two bars throughout the show. We would like to thank all those joined us who approached coffee in their own way; many through the medium of pour over, espresso, or ibrik. We also had the pleasure of hosting and working in unison with Mathieu Theis , artisan , Kees van der Westen and PROFITEC Espresso Machines.

Congratulations to the newly crowned winner of the United Kingdom’s Barista Championship, Daria Bila!

We met Daria earlier in the year, when we first brought the Horizon to Dublin through an event at Proper Order. This was followed up by an event with Daria at Formative Coffee soon after. When she contacted us with plans to include the Horizon in her debut at competition, we were more than happy to support.

It is always exciting as a team to see the products we’ve created appearing on stages and brew bars across the world. We can’t wait to see what Daria does at the world championships later this year in Panama.

Dublin Event Horizon

Before our team made our way to San Diego, we held a small but busy Event Horizon in the Irish capital. Staff from Acaia and Proper Order were joined by both industry professionals and the coffee curious for a cupping of local roasters and introduction to the Horizon. Thank you again to everyone who attended the event.
