On 10th July, we spent our Volunteer Day at the Indira Cancer Trust, standing alongside cancer patients and their families with compassion, care, and kindness.

The Trust was established in memory of Indira, a brave mother who chose to delay her breast cancer treatment to protect her unborn baby. Although she sadly passed away at the age of 40 after giving birth, her legacy continues through the thousands of patients and families supported by the Trust.

30 of our employees participated in the visit, while our entire team came together by making personal donations to support this meaningful cause.

The most memorable part of the day was not just what we gave, but the conversations we shared, the smiles we exchanged, and the strength we witnessed from the patients and their families💖 .

We kicked off GTL’s 2026 sporting calendar with our very first event — the Bowling Tournament, held on 2nd June 2026 at Counter Strike Bowling Alley, CCC.

Congratulations to Team Black Caviar 🎉, who bowled their way to victory with an impressive team score of 410 points (5 frames), securing their first-ever event win.

The event was filled with fun, laughter, friendly competition, and great team spirit as our teams battled it out on the lanes.

In celebration of Vesak, we hosted an Ice Cream Dansala 🍦 at our office premises on 11th May, embracing the spirit of “dāna” — the timeless Buddhist value of generosity, giving, and sharing with others.

We were delighted to welcome and serve nearly 1,500 people within just one hour, making the occasion meaningful and memorable.

As the Vesak season continues, we wish everyone a peaceful and meaningful celebration filled with kindness, compassion, and joy! 🙏✨

We celebrated Sinhalese and Tamil New Year at the office on 22 April 2026, bringing everyone together for a joyful and vibrant day. The event was filled with festive spirit, laughter, and traditional games that added excitement to the celebration 🌞.

Grateful for an evening of togetherness at our Office Iftar Celebration 🌙✨

The Iftar gathering at our office took place yesterday, 11th March 2026, at the office premises.

While Iftar is deeply meaningful for our Muslim colleagues, what made the evening truly memorable was seeing colleagues from different religions come together to share the moment.

Sharing a meal after a day of fasting reminds us of the values of gratitude, compassion, and community. Moments like this show how diversity in the workplace can bring us closer, strengthening friendships and building a more inclusive environment.
