✳ Imagine a restaurant 🏢 as a software application 💻

📌 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱:

The front end is what the customers see and interact with, such as the menu, ordering system, and table layout.

📌 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱

The back end is the kitchen and all the processes that happen behind the scenes, such as food preparation, cooking, and dishwashing.

📌 𝗔𝗣𝗜

✅ In order for the front end and back end to communicate with each other, they need an API, or application programming interface.

✅ This is like the waiter in a restaurant that takes orders from the front end and communicates them to the kitchen (back-end).

✅ Similarly, when the kitchen is done preparing dishes, it communicates back to the front end that the food is ready to be served.

✅ In a software application, the API is the intermediary layer that allows the front end and back end to communicate and work together seamlessly, just like the waiter in a restaurant.
