Job Vacancy: Software Engineer – PHP

Bravo Computer System, An exciting and growing company is seeking an exceptional Software Engineer – PHP to join our team. You will have the opportunity to provide input on product development, learn new technologies, and improve your development skills. Creativity and technical excellence are critical attributes for this role. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize workflow is a necessity. Work will be with a high energy team with fast-moving projects.

Skills & Requirements

Programming and technical skills needed:
• PHP
• CodeIgniter or Any other PHP Framework
• AJAX, JavaScript & JQuery
• MySQL (views, triggers, replication, etc)
• API development
• Unit testing and Selenium automated testing
• Self-directed, methodical, and detail-oriented
• Use of development, staging, and production environments
• Capable of managing deployment, optimization, scaling, and fine-tuning

Desired Additional Qualifications
• 3+ years in PHP development
• Degree in Computer Science or related area
• Familiarity with Agile development
• Familiarity with continuous integration and automated build and deployment
• Ability to integrate final web designs
• Likes to trace down and fix bugs
• Project management, scheduling, and postmortem review

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation depends on experience and consists of base salary and an annually target bonus opportunity.

As a PHP Developer you will be responsible for developing websites for various web browsers and platforms. Attention to detail, dedication to work and great communication skills are a must, while the ability to work without constant supervision and fix bugs quickly as the business demands is expected.

To be considered for this position, you must have development experience of at least 1 year and the following would be desired:

-> Experience with PHP, XHTML, CSS3 & JavaScripts

-> Ability to convert PSD to HTML
-> Project management skills would be a plus
