පැණිරස වෑහෙන කැවුම් පිසින මේ අවුරුද්දේ ගම්මානය පුරා ගිගුම් දෙන්නේ සිංහළ තාල නාදයි
සුරයිනි, අසුරයිනි, යකුනි, රාවන පරපුරේ අපි අපේ බුදුන්නේ දේශයේ පවත්වන උත්කර්ෂවත් උලෙල සිංහළ අවුරුදු උත්සවයයි

ඩමරුව, බුද්ධ බෙරය වයමින් අවුරුදු සමරති. කැවිලි පෙවිලි උයමින් තරුණියන් හැඩ වැඩ වෙති

මේ ලොව පැරණිම දේසයයි. ඒ දේසයේ ඉපැරණි සිරිත් විරිත් සැමදාකම හෙළයෝ රකිති. ඒ දේසයේ සියල්ලෝ නව අවුරුද්දේ එකම නැකතට එකම වැඬේ කරති. එවැනි රටක් ලොව වෙන කොහෙවත් නැත.

මදාරා පරසතු මල් දෙවර්ගය පිපෙන ලොව ඇති එකම දෙව්ලොව මේ අපේ මාතෘභූමියයි.
