⭐To safely remove your pen drive (USB flash drive) and avoid data corruption, follow these steps depending on your operating system⭐
🔹 Windows (10/11/7)
Save & close all files on the pen drive.
Click the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner).
Click on “Eject [Device Name]”.
Wait for the message: “Safe to Remove Hardware”, then unplug the pen drive.
✅ If the icon is hidden, click the up arrow (˄) to find it.
🔹 macOS
Close all files and apps using the USB.
Locate the USB drive on your desktop or Finder.
Right-click on the USB drive and select “Eject”, OR drag it to the Trash (which changes to an Eject symbol).
Wait until the drive disappears from the desktop, then unplug it.
🔹 Linux (Ubuntu, etc.)
Close all files on the USB.
Right-click the drive on the desktop or file manager.
Select “Unmount” or “Eject”.
Wait for confirmation, then unplug it.

Unplugging without ejecting can:
Corrupt files
Damage the drive’s file system
Cause data loss
If you have trouble ejecting:
Check if files are still open.
Wait a few seconds or restart the system if needed.
