Fumigation Technologies (India) Pvt Ltd came to me with a premium vision and a logo that didn’t match it.

The company issues fumigation certificates read by international customs officials and global logistics teams. Every single certificate carried their brand mark. That’s their first impression, their trust signal, their calling card in a global supply chain.

The old logo felt generic. It blended in with local competitors. For a founder with international ambitions, that visual gap was a problem. The brand couldn’t compete at the level they were actually operating.

I designed a single mark identity system: a geometric, monoline symbol paired with a bold wordmark. One corporate navy. Built specifically to hold up at certificate scale and in one-color reproduction.

Added a structured grid and consistent typography across the entire certificate system.

The result is a brand that feels premium and minimal. It looks like it belongs on documents crossing international borders. It positions them to compete globally, not just locally.

When your brand appears on official documents, it better feel as legitimate as the service you provide. Your visual identity either builds trust before anyone reads the content, or it creates doubt.

Fumigation Technologies now has a brand that matches the premium work they were already doing.

Your social presence looks polished. Everything is well-designed.

But it doesn't feel like you.

This happens constantly. A business invests in branding that checks all the aesthetic boxes, but doesn't capture who they actually are. It looks like what a business in their industry is supposed to look like.

Maybe you hired a designer who created something trendy but generic. Maybe you copied competitors because it felt safe. Maybe you prioritized impressive over authentic.

The result is branding that's technically fine but emotionally disconnected.

Here in Sri Lanka, I see this with ice cream brands all the time. Almost every brand uses the same bright, loud colors. Zero uniqueness. They all blend together because they're following the same playbook.

That's why we chose a different direction for Creamellow. Minimal, relatable content and visuals that actually stood out. Not because minimal is trendy, but because it was true to what the brand actually is.

People don't connect with technically fine. They connect with brands that feel real. That have a distinct personality. That show up as themselves, not as a polished version of industry expectations.

If your branding feels wrong, it probably is. That gut feeling is telling you there's a disconnect between who you are and how you're presenting yourself.

The fix isn't another redesign. It's getting honest about what your brand actually is. How you really talk. What you genuinely believe. Who you naturally attract.

Then building a visual identity that expresses that truth.

Branding that feels right performs better because you're not performing. You're just being yourself with intention.

Does your branding feel like you, or does it feel like a costume you put on for business?

We designed our Day One Studioz logo to be immediately understood and never forgotten.

The structure is simple: seven elements representing the seven days of the week. The first element is highlighted.

Why this works:

The name reinforces the concept. Day One connects to the first highlighted element, creating instant recognition.

The visual creates a mental anchor. Seven elements mirror a universal rhythm everyone already knows.

Simplicity drives recall. There's no hidden meaning to decode, no clever twist to explain.

People remember brands that don't make them work for it. Our logo is that principle in practice.

When I start a branding project, I don’t begin with a brief. I start with curiosity, understanding what’s actually happening in the business and what feels honest to its audience. This approach ensures the brand aligns perfectly with the client’s vision. 💪🏼📈👩🏽‍💻

Built from a small room in Sri Lanka to a brand operating in Sri Lanka, Qatar, and the UK all within one year.

Alhamdulillah.

From February 2024 to February 2025, this has been the journey of .

It started with ._.thaha , a friend of mine a CA student with a simple dream. He was brewing homemade coffee and selling it around his neighborhood as a part-time hustle.

No big setup. No big funding. Just belief and consistency.

When I tried Coffidu for the first time, I genuinely loved it. As a brand designer, I didn't just taste coffee I saw brand potential.

I told him, "This can be built into a real brand." And honestly, he was already looking for that direction too.

From there, we started planning.

Researching how coffee brands work. Understanding the growing hype and strength of Sri Lankan coffee.

Step by step, from scratch:

We registered the company
Built a minimal black & white brand identity
Designed packaging that spoke before the product did

It worked. People loved it. Packaging became one of our strongest pitching tools.

His sister, a web developer, helped bring Coffidu online. We launched the official website, aligned with the brand identity and still evolving.

We approached small malls and premium outlets at an early stage.

Built social media with a clean grid system, creating mindspace and recognition mostly on weekends, alongside our regular work.

Through the right people in our circle, Coffidu expanded into Qatar and the UK, with more in progress.

What makes this special is that this entire journey is still a part-time brand build, run with proper systems, planning, and long-term vision.

This year, we're moving into personal branding, aligned with our 2026 marketing blueprint.

What this journey taught me:

Brands aren't built by budgets. They're built by clarity, consistency, and people who believe.

I watched another local business choose flashy colors and loud packaging, hoping it would stand out.

runs a small ice cream café in the Akurana area. When he approached me, he had a clear problem: every ice cream brand in Sri Lanka was competing with bright, eye-catching colors. He wanted to start his own brand but struggled with how to differentiate in a saturated market.

His challenge was visibility without blending into the noise.

We had a discussion about positioning. Instead of following what everyone else was doing, we explored a different direction. What if we went minimal and clean? What if we used a purple theme when everyone else was shouting with primary colors?

We developed a brand identity built on calm and clarity. The logo featured a minimal mark paired with memorable typography. For his eight unique flavors, we selected subtle colors that created distinction without chaos. His social media presence followed the same principle: minimal, brandable, and consistent.

The result: Rukshan now owns a brand that feels different. His low-air ice cream already had quality. Now it has a visual identity that communicates that quality before the first bite.

Promotions launched in Akurana and Mawanella are performing well. .icecream is building recognition not by shouting louder, but by speaking clearly.

When a business transitions from product to brand, the question is not how to look different. It is how to be remembered.

If you are moving from product to brand and need guidance on creating visual identity that holds mindspace, I am available for consultation.
