Today, we successfully conducted a training session at the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs and the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) on the TFGBV Reporting Platform.

This platform was designed and developed by Loons Lab, with funding support from UNDP, and initiated by SLCERT, to strengthen Sri Lanka’s response to Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV).

The training focused on:

- Understanding the GBV and TFGBV reporting workflow
- How institutions can securely receive, review, and act on reported cases
- Inter-agency collaboration is enabled through the platform

The project has now reached its final stage and is ready for go-live, marking an important milestone in leveraging technology to protect women and children and to ensure safer digital spaces.

We are grateful to the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs, the National Child Protection Authority, CCID, UNDP, and SLCERT for their collaboration and commitment toward a safer, more responsive ecosystem.

Marking an important milestone for us at Loons Lab and for us as a country.

We are conducting a training session for the Police Children & Women Bureau on the TFGBV Reporting Platform—a technology solution designed to strengthen the reporting and response mechanisms for Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) in Sri Lanka.

After months of collaboration, development, testing, and stakeholder engagement, the project has now successfully concluded its development phase and has reached its final stage—ready for go-live. Today’s training is a key step in ensuring smooth adoption and real-world impact.

This platform was developed by Loons Lab, funded by UNDP, and initiated by SLCERT, with the goal of enabling secure, accessible, and efficient reporting while supporting law enforcement in handling cases more effectively.

Grateful to UNDP, SLCERT, and the Sri Lanka Police Children & Women Bureau for the trust, collaboration, and shared commitment to using technology for social good.

- Provide on call support and troubleshooting.
