Course Overview
Laptop Chip Level Foundation Course එක හදලා තියෙන්නේ laptop repair field එකට අලුතින් එන studentsලාට සහ basic repair experience තියෙන techniciansලාට motherboard level diagnosis වලට යන්න කලින් අවශ්ය foundation එක build කරන්න.
මෙම course එකේදී student කෙනෙක්ට මුලින්ම laptop එකක් safe විදිහට handle කරන හැටි, tools use කරන හැටි, screws / clips / hinges / ribbon cables damage නොකර open කරන හැටි, laptop generations සහ Intel family overview එක basic level එකෙන් තේරුම් ගන්න හැටි cover කරනවා.
ඊට පස්සේ common laptop part replacement practical foundation එකට යනවා. RAM, SSD, keyboard, display, battery, fan, heatsink, WiFi card, small boards, charger port වගේ parts identify කරලා safe විදිහට remove / replace කරන methods practical විදිහට cover කරනවා.
Motherboard repair වලට enter වෙන්න කලින් අවශ්ය basic electronics foundation එකත් මෙහිදී cover වෙනවා. Voltage, current, resistance, ground, short circuit, open circuit, series circuit, parallel circuit, diode, capacitor, resistor, MOSFET, fuse වගේ components සහ ඒවා laptop board එකක භාවිතා වෙන basic idea එක simple විදිහට explain කරනවා. Deep theory වලට නොයනවා, repair වලට අවශ්ය practical understanding එකට focus කරනවා.
Course එකේ important section එකක් තමයි multimeter handling. DC voltage measure කරන හැටි, continuity mode, resistance mode, diode mode, ground reference, short checking, fuse checking, coil checking, adapter voltage checking වගේ basic to practical measurements step-by-step cover කරනවා.
ඉන්පසු soldering method and techniques live simulation method එකෙන් cover කරනවා. Soldering iron, hot air station, flux, solder wire, desolder wick, Kapton tape use කරන හැටි, small components remove / replace කරන හැටි, pad damage avoid කරන හැටි, safety heat control වගේ foundation skills practical විදිහට build කරනවා.
Course එකේ final technical foundation part එකේදී laptop power section checking step-by-step cover කරනවා. VIN section, standby power, RAM power, run power, CPU core power වගේ main power areas වල fundamental theory සහ checking methods basic level එකෙන් explain කරනවා. Power sequence වල basic idea, enable signal, power good signal, coil voltage checking, short checking, and sequence stop වෙන තැන් identify කරන method එක cover වෙනවා.
අවසානයේ BIOS ROM flashing foundation එක cover කරනවා. BIOS chip identify කිරීම, 8-pin SPI ROM basic idea, 3.3V / 1.8V ROM safety, programmer tools, read / backup / erase / write / verify process, wrong BIOS danger, සහ BIOS flashing වල limits explain කරනවා.
