Fundamental of Technology Institute seeks $20,000.00 to fund computer education and technological support for 500 teenagers in two marginalized schools in Buchanan City, Liberia. Computer classes will be conducted after school hours by volunteers from Fundamental of Technology Institute 10 corporate members and 5 individuals in a ‘computer café’ that will be accessible to students 60 hours weekly.
This high impact program will have a long-term effect on the beneficiaries, as they will be better equipped for employment upon graduation. Fundamental of Technology Institute works to bring computer access, education and economic opportunities to high school students of both public and private schools. The program will benefit at least 500 low income students in the area. The training for the use of the computers and basic software will be managed by the corporate volunteers of Fundamental of Technology Institute. The training will be offered after school hours to targeted students.
