My Entry for the National County Sports Meet Logo Design Challenge
I am excited to submit my design for the new National County Sports Meet logo!
Design Concept:
A strong, official circular badge in deep navy blue with clean white text arched at the top reading “NATIONAL COUNTY SPORTS MEET”.
At the center is a classic heraldic shield featuring the Lone Star above the text “REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA”. Inside the shield is a colorful arrangement of county symbols and flags representing all parts of Liberia. At the bottom is a laurel wreath symbolizing victory and sporting excellence.
Symbolism:
-Circular Badge: Unity and the coming together of all 15 counties as one nation.
-Lone Star: Liberia’s symbol of freedom, independence, and hope.
-Central Shield: Strength, protection, and national identity.
-County Symbols: County pride and unity in diversity – every county represented and participating.
-Laurel Wreath: Victory, honor, and achievement in sports.
This design respects Liberia’s traditional symbols while presenting a clean, professional, and modern look suitable for jerseys, medals, banners, and digital use.
It perfectly captures the spirit of “One Nation. One Tournament. County Pride • National Glory.”
