This year’s theme, “AI as a Business Accelerator,” challenges Liberia’s brightest innovators, entrepreneurs, and tech talents to build solutions that transform real-world problems into scalable business opportunities.

In Liberia, AI has the potential to revolutionize how we solve challenges across financial inclusion, digital commerce, energy access, customer experience, automation, and business intelligence. Through this challenge, participants will develop innovative solutions that directly connect to Orange’s ecosystem — from Max it SuperApp, Orange Money, and Orange Energy, to customer experience, process optimization, data analysis, and generative AI applications.

Over 12 intensive weeks, selected participants will collaborate with Orange experts, mentors, and international partners to build, test, and refine AI-driven solutions with real commercial potential.

Two ways to apply:

Orange Digital Center Liberia invites innovators, startup founders, developers, and young tech talents to apply for the Orange Summer Challenge 2026 — an opportunity to transform AI-powered ideas into scalable business solutions that directly respond to real challenges within the Orange ecosystem.

Over 12 intensive weeks, selected participants will work alongside Orange teams to develop, test, and refine AI-driven solutions while receiving technical and business support from Orange Digital Center experts, Orange employees, and international partners.

What Kind of Projects Are Accepted?

Orange Summer Challenge welcomes a wide range of technology-driven projects that integrate AI — or have the potential to integrate AI — to solve real operational and business challenges connected to Orange.

This includes solutions linked to:
Max it Super App – improving digital engagement and service delivery
Orange Money – financial inclusion, smarter transactions, fraud detection, and user experience
Orange Energies – smarter energy access and optimization
Customer Experience – intelligent service improvement and support systems
