PRINTx231 – Annual Address 2025
My fellow Liberians, dreamers, builders, partners, investors, customers, and everyone who refuses to accept the ordinary.
I know I have been extremely quiet lately, retrospecting re-configuring and calibrating for what is to come. My absence has been more about preparation and assessment to come back stronger. I appreciate your immense patience and concern shown me over the last 12 months of ghost mode.
Good evening.
Tonight, I’m not here to read you a polite report.
I’m here to tell you the truth, to light a fire under us, and to remind every single one of you: we are changing the game in Liberia right now.
Like my greatest inspiration, the African visionary Strive Masiyiwa, who taught us that “opportunity is in the problem.”
Every challenge we face is not a barrier, it's the spark for innovation. That's what drives me. That's what drives PRINTx231.
This past year tried to break us.
Operational storms. Financial knives in the back. Institutional battles that would have buried lesser companies.
We stared down every one of them.
We didn’t just survive, we fought, we reinvented, we came out stronger.
Because that’s what Liberians do. That’s what revolutionaries do.
And while the world wasn’t watching, we built revenue real revenue about $3,000 earned the hard way through sweat, hustle, and pure belief:
- Guiding hundreds through the Diversity Visa dream
- Putting powerful phones and devices into Liberian hands
- Designing software and digital solutions that actually work here
Three thousand dollars might sound small to Silicon Valley.
But in Liberia?
That’s proof.
Proof that a Liberian startup can stand on its own.
Proof that trust still exists.
Proof that resilience pays.
To our very first angel investor who’s waited longer than anyone should have to wait I look you in the eye tonight and say:
Your patience is fuel.
Your belief is oxygen.
And the explosion is coming.
This year we didn’t just consult we created.
We shipped real products, built right here:
- MAKE LOVE – the dating app that’s bringing real connection to a generation starved for it
- BARTENDER – smart inventory software putting power in the hands of Liberian businesses
- FIRE WATCH – an app that could literally save lives when seconds count
These aren’t copies.
These are Liberian answers to Liberian problems.
Built by us. For us. Proudly.
As Masiyiwa says, “Whether you’re a farmer, builder or engineer, the opportunities are equal: Just add a little innovation.”
Now look forward with me.
We’re not playing small anymore.
We’re doubling down on training the next wave of Liberian tech talent because, in Masiyiwa's words, “Entrepreneurship without skills limits your growth potential.”
We’re forging partnerships with global giants who finally see what we’ve known all along Liberia is the next big thing in west africa.
We’re scaling online sales of hardware and tools that put real power in people’s pockets. Through The Perfection Store, we will sell technology products, high quality vehicles and state of the art equipments used by diverse vocational professionals.
And yes we’re moving boldly into physical services: professional painting, home maintenance, community development done better, smarter, Liberian-style.
But here’s the move that will shake things up:
By 2029, every single one of our intended 25 team members across all subsidiaries will work from home 100% remote.
We’re not waiting for permission.
We’re proving that structured, accountable, world-class remote work can thrive right here in Liberia.
Less traffic. Lower costs. Talent unleashed from every corner of this country.
We’re making geography irrelevant.
We’re investing heavily in our people growing young Liberian geniuses in-house.
We’re sitting at the table with the Government of Liberia, pushing partnerships that turn policy into progress.
And let me say this loudly:
Special appreciation to His Excellency President Joseph N. Boakai for his bold leadership in launching the Liberia Digital Transformation Project and the Instant Inclusive Payment System initiatives that are empowering thousands of youths with digital skills and modernizing our financial landscape.
Thank you also to visionary leader Mr. Alexander Benedict Cummings, whose Cummings Africa Foundation has pioneered STEM education in Liberia, building the nation's first dedicated STEM school and inspiring entrepreneurship across the continent.
And profound gratitude to the Liberian Government under President Boakai's guidance, the World Bank, and the Liberia Digital Transformation Project partners. We are also grateful to Orange Liberia GSM for it’s recent launch of home unlimited internet for just $25 USD monthly. This is huge for everything we want to do. This is our greenlight for the immense potential such connectivity opportunity offers. Thank you Orange Liberia.
You’re laying the fiber. We’re building the future on top of it.
The vision is crystal clear and non-negotiable:
- By 2029: PRINTx231 is 100% online, borderless, unstoppable.
- Beginning January 10, 2026, we plan on raising our annual net income to $1,008,000 (One Million, eight thousand) LRD by improving work equipments, adding new customers channels and implementing monthly savings of $84,000 LRD. This is a slow five year plan. We strong believe we can meet and exceed the Five Million LRD mark by 2029.
- By 2028: A modern self serving printshop on every single university campus in Liberia affordable, professional, fast because customers deserve better than yesterday’s options.
This is how we make innovation normal.
This is how we make technology cheap enough for everyone.
This is how Liberia stops following and starts leading Africa in tech.
To Joan, my partner who held the line when everything was on fire: I love you and you will always be next to me.
To my mentor and father, Jackson Foley, Larry Stricklin and to Francis Foley: you shaped the man who stands here today.
To every customer who chose us: you are the reason we fight.
To every person who believed when believing was hard: this win is yours.
And to the young people of Liberia watching right now:
The future isn’t coming, it's already here, and it needs you.
Learn obsessively. Build relentlessly. Show up every single day.
Your moment is closer than you think.
As Strive Masiyiwa inspires me every day: Africa’s potential is limitless when its youth innovate and solve real problems.
To our investors and partners:
You didn’t bet on a company.
You bet on a revolution.
Liberia is rising.
Thank you.
Let’s go build.
