Alexander J. Brooks, Jr.,
IT Specialist / Access Media Assistant
The Liberia Airport Authority (LAA) recognizes Mr. Alexander J. Brooks, Jr. He serves in the Access Media Section as an IT Specialist / Access Media Assistant, where he manages and secures LAA’s information systems. His responsibilities include database administration, access control, user rights management, system monitoring, and protecting digital assets in line with LAA .
Over the last two weeks, Mr. Brooks stepped up when LAA faced tight access pass deadlines. He rebuilt workflow queues, cleared backlog, and coordinated directly with security and operations to verify credentials. Working multiple weekends and sacrificing personal time, he ensured 100% of pending passes were issued on schedule. He joined the Liberia Airport Authority in January 2026 and has been an outstanding member of our team. Mr. Brooks’s commitment kept airport operations secure and moving. Congratulations on service that makes a real difference.
Reflecting on his recognition, he said, “I chose to treat every day as though I already belonged here even before the paperwork said so. That mindset made all the difference. I am deeply grateful to Managing Director Ernest R. Hughes and the entire LAA management team for building an environment where young professionals are seen, supported, and challenged to deliver their best.“
