Thank you Nexus2050, Luxembourg City to have invited us to talk in the new tech pulse event in Luxembourg.

We had a great conversation with Bert Verdock, Michael Mossal, David Foy and Jasmin Schulz about how data is today’s fuel of innovation that provides a factual basis and enables predictive insights. ⚡Powertage was all about the transformation of the energy system and how we can shape this change together as a society.

The transition towards better integration of distributed renewable energy sources and the increasing electrification across various sectors, from mobility to heating, presents significant challenges for electricity grids.
🇨🇭We had many great discussions about those challenges and potential solutions with various distribution system operators in Switzerland

There are other databases in the market, but Greycat is designed to operate over massive datasets efficiently.

We’ve tested Greycat v.7’s storage efficiency against Greycat v6 and Postgres. Greycat v7, with its new type decorator , cuts down the dataset’s final disk size in half compared to v6, and down 75% compared to Postgres.
