RSF International Provides Audio Guides to The Diamond Museum in Antwerp

RSF International will provide 200 Optima6 audio guides to The Diamond Museum enabling the visitor to learn about the vast world of diamonds in the language of their choice and at their own pace. Visitors will have the chance to visit treasure chambers and unique diamond collections with diamond stones and diamond jewelry from the sixteenth century until contemporary times. Also a replica of famous diamonds like the Koh I Noor and the Cullinan I are exposed at the museum.

In more than a thousand square meters of space, expert guides will explain the rich history of Antwerp and the relationship it had with diamonds for more than 400 years. Diamond polishers and goldsmiths are at work for a first-hand view one will also see some legendary diamonds and learn about diamond valuation, also known as the 4 C’s.

RSF International Engaged in the New Interactive Visitor Centre for Flemish Parliament

RSF International will provide 200 Optima6 audio guides for the new Flemish Parliament Visitor Centre in Brussels. They will be used in parallel with a visitor's management system allowing for detection and transmission of the visitor's identity at interactive kiosks (via IP) throughout the visit route to provide a personalised visitor experience.

ABOUT THE VISITOR CENTRE

A new interactive visitor centre is planned in the former exhibition space De Loketten in the Flemish parliament building in central Brussels. The centre is scheduled to open in 2018. The centre, which is meant to attract schoolchildren, associations and individuals, including tourists, aims to provide a sense of citizenship and democratic values, while offering a worthwhile visitor experience. It will be built around four modules: the parliament as the core of democracy, parliamentarianism and the rule of law, the evolution of the Flemish region and civic activism.

The Optima6 Used for The New Belgium National Bank Museum

The Optima6 will be employed by the new Belgian Bank Museum in parallel with a visitor's management system. This allows for detection and transmission of the visitor's identity to interactive kiosks (via IP) throughout the visit route to receive a personalised experience.

The National Bank of Belgium’s collections include numismatic items (commodity money, coins, notes, and medals), iconographic documents, valuable books and archives, artifacts and machines. Together, these collections form a remarkable and unique corpus, used by researchers, writers, museums and other organisers of exhibitions. They have been constituted from 1950 with a view to setting up a museum. From a thematic point of view, these collections cover the whole field of Belgium’s national history with an emphasis on the economy and the development of money, banking and finance.

RSF's Optima6 Point & Click Engaged in “Pompeii, the Immortal City” Exhibition in Brussels

For the Pompeii, the Immortal City exhibition in Brussels, beginning November 2017, all the latest techniques of modern-day museology have been exploited in order to bring to life this ancient city, destroyed in 79 A.D. RSF will provide 400 Optima6 Point & Click audio guides for the exhibition. The Point & Click feature allows visitors to point their device at a target, validate, and hear the information pertinent to the specific exhibit. This exhibition also has a multi-language projection room where the visitors' audio guides are automatically synchonised to the video programming in their chosen language.

The Museo Galileo Firenze and the Museo archeologico nazionale di Napoli have produced the scientific scenarios within the exhibition layout. This exhibition plunges the visitor into the heart of the drama and the ruins of the ancient city. Spectacular immersive moments allow the visitor to experience the destruction of the city and to identify with the inhabitants of that time, immobilized by the volcano’s ashes. Over one hundred archaeological items originating from Pompeii, including a large number being exhibited for the first time, demonstrate the knowledge that the Romans had about nature as well as their scientific and technical know-how at the moment Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D.

RSF PROVIDES 700 XP AUDIO GUIDES FOR “I will be 20 in 2030” Exhibition IN LIEGE

For the “I will be 20 in 2030” exhibition about mankind of the future RSF will provide 700 XPerience audio guides. All along this immersive exhibition route, visitors pass through large-scale settings as well as simulations enriched with displays, explanatory texts and films. The exhibition is based around four cross-disciplinary themes: assisted mankind, connected mankind, responsible mankind and modified mankind. Due to phenomenal public demand, Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, will be returning to The O2 in London with a new exhibition, Elvis on Tour, opening on 3 November 2017. Following the mammoth success of 2014/2015 Elvis at The O2 exhibition, which was visited by over 200,000 people, Elvis on Tour will showcase more than 200 artifacts from the Graceland archives in the UK for the very first time.
Elvis on Tour will chronicle how Elvis impacted popular culture around the world through his music, movies and personal style. Covering the years 1969 - 1977, the exhibition will feature many items that were seen in the 1972 tour documentary, Elvis on Tour.
